THE BEST oF BEST HARI RAYA in This YEAR
On the last day of fasting in 29th
June 2014, my family and i always celebrated Hari Raya Aidilfitri in the
village which is situated in Besut, Terengganu at Kampung Alor Lintah. We
always arrive a day early before the arrival of the first day of Hari Raya
Aidilfitri because we don't want to get stuck in a traffic jam. I will be
thrilled every time i wait for the arrival of that day because of this occasion
our family will gather with other family members to celebrate this festival
together in this year. I don't want to be in last year Hari Raya because my
other family members didn't celebrated at kampung.
The first day of Hari Raya, i woke
up early awakened by my mother. After i finished a bath and performed the dawn
prayers, i was getting ready to wear my new baju melayu that i recently bought.
After a while, my family went to the mosque for Hari Raya prayers.
After the prayers done, i watch
over the house and the kids with other members of the family came to other
house. After fasting for 30 days in Ramadhan, its is time for me to enjoy all
kind of food. My parents and my grandmother cook all kind of food the day
before Hari Raya. They cook the meals at night until dawn to ensure food is
prepared in a timely. There are ketupat, nasi impit with kuah kacang, biscuits
and many more that i like to eat. I can't wait to eat all the meals because all
of its so delicious. emm....... .
At noon, my family members from all over
the places are gathered at my grandmother's house celebrating together. I am
very happy at that time to meet all of my cousins and chat with them. We ate
together, talk together and laugh together. It's was so much fun. For time to
time, there are some children coming hari raya at our house. As the host in
this house, i treat them to eat.
Interesting about Hari Raya is because
all of the mistake and hated are been forgives and forget. Each of my family
members would apologize to each other either older or younger includes my
family. One things that i like the most is my grandmother, my parents and
relative would give me the hari raya money.
When night comes, we are letting of
firecrackers and fireworks. The atmosphere filled with the sound of exploding
fireworks. We all slept late the night, chatting with other. In conclusion, i
like to celebrate Hari Raya with my family and other family members. This is
the best of the best Hari Raya in this year and it's a sweet memory for me.
